Hennessey Performance delivers 10th Venom F5 hypercar
Texas-based Hennessey Performance has delivered the 10th Venom F5 hypercar.
Earlier, Venom F5 no. 10 rolled off the production line at Sealy, Texas. The car, finished in a striking metallic blue with white stripes, was handed over to the customer over the holidays.
The Venom F5 went into production in 2021, and deliveries kicked off during the same year in November. You might recall the first car was finished in Mojave Gold.
The Venom F5 is powered by a 6.6-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 engine that develops 1817 hp @ 8000 rpm and 1,193 lb-ft @ 5000 rpm. The engine is hooked up to a semi-automatic single-clutch transmission that drives the rear wheels.
The Venom F5 is based on a carbon monocoque and weighs just 1360 kg. It has a power-to-weight ratio of 1298 hp per ton and is built to reach speeds in excess of 300 mph.
Hennessey is also building 30 examples of the Venom F5 Roadster. Unfortunately, each one of the $3 million hypercars is sold out, just like the coupe.
