Hardcore Porsche Taycan to debut on March 11; could be the Turbo GT
Porsche is all set to debut the most hardcore version of the Taycan EV on March 11. While the company hasn’t revealed the exact details of the car, we suspect it’s the Taycan Turbo GT.
Porsche has already revealed its range-topping Taycan in prototype form. In January, the car went around the Nurburgring in 7 min 07.55 seconds, beating the time set by the Tesla Model S Plaid. According to the company, it is “the most dynamic Taycan of all time”.
The teaser shows a properly kitted-out Taycan replete with a rear spoiler. It is also expected to get a sporty body kit including a front splitter with end plates, side skirts and a rear diffuser. The overall stance of the car looks quite aggressive too.
Rumors suggest that the Taycan Turbo GT is likely to offer around 1000 hp, placing it above the Turbo S Sport Turismo, which has 925 hp.
