Guy wants to Trade his Private Island for a Porsche 911 GT2 RS
There’s always that joke floating around of selling your kidneys to buy something desirable and valuable. Here’s a Florida man who is willing to do the same for a Porsche 911 GT2 RS. Since, sale of his kidneys won’t amount to the total value of the car, this man has another offer. He is willing to trade his private island for it.
Whenever an automaker launches a limited edition car, there are always some who fail to get an allocation. Normally, the prices for that particular model on the used market soar. It’s the same case with the GT2 RS. The model was released last year with production being limited to just 1000 examples. While, the starting price for the car was $294,250, examples of the GT2 RS are currently being sold for well over $500,000 in the second-hand market.
In case, someone wants to buy the island but doesn’t own a GT2 RS, the island also happens to be for sale for $568,900, or best offer. That money will probably buy the man a properly specced 2018 911 GT2 RS with some change left. The real estate ad describes this island as a “3-acre paradise of high and dry riverfront land on Halifax. It is located 1.2 miles south of Dunlawton Bridge in Port Orange, Florida. Enjoy all of the fresh fishing and stunning views.”
Here’s the Craigslist ad if anyone is considering the offer.
