This Graphic Novel is based on Steve McQueen’s 1971 film- Le Mans

If you’re a petrolhead then you’ve most probably heard about Steve McQueen. “The King of Cool” as he was known, McQueen gave us movies like Bullitt, The Great Escape and The Towering Inferno to name a few. For us car enthusiasts though, McQueen will always be remembered for his love of cars and racing.

In 1971, McQueen starred in Le Mans- a film based on the 24 Hours of Le Mans race which even today is regarded as the toughest endurance race in the world.

Now, Sandro Garbo- artist and car lover has created a brilliant graphic novel based on the film. A team of artists working under Sandro took 3 years to sketch out scenes from the film and compile them into this stunning piece of art work.
