Gold Bugatti Mistral to join Chiron Super Sport ‘Golden Era’ at Pebble Beach
Bugatti recently revealed the Chiron Super Sport ‘Golden Era’ – a bespoke car commissioned by a US-based client. It’s a celebration of the most significant moments from the brand’s history. The French hypercar maker has confirmed that Chiron will share the stage with a special Bugatti Mistral.
The gold Bugatti Mistral will showcase the vast possibilities offered under the ‘Sur Mesure’ program for the brand’s ultimate roadster. As you can see, the car is painted in a shade of gold and features contrasting carbon fibre elements. The engine cover and roll hoop shrouds are also finished in bare carbon, while the interior has a dual-tone combination of black and beige leather.
The Mistral was unveiled exactly a year ago as the last W16 hypercar from Bugatti. It is also the only open-top model based on the Chiron platform and is powered by the ‘Thor’ spec 8.0-liter W16 engine that produces 1600 hp. It is the same engine that powers the Chiron Super Sport.
