G80 BMW M3 won’t be launched until 2021
According to a media report, BMW M boss Markus Flasch has said that the new G80 generation BMW M3 is ready for production. However, the car won’t be launched until 2021.
Images of the new M3 had leaked earlier this month, revealing the rear end of the new sports sedan. The car gets a carbon lip spoiler, wider fenders, redesigned rear bumper with a diffuser finished in body colour and quad exhausts. In another leaked image, you could see the front end of the M3 with its over-sized twin-kidney grille.
The G80 BMW M3 is expected to powered by a 3.0-liter, turbocharged 6-cylinder engine producing around 500 hp. It could get rear -wheel drive and all-wheel drive options.
Following the launch of the M3 in 2021, BMW will introduce the M4 coupe and convertible models.
