Ford Shelby GT350R is quicker than Camaro Z/28 on Nurburging
The new Ford Shelby GT350R has got all it needs to be a quick, very quick road car. Ford claims an output of 500 hp from its 5.2-liter V8 with all the aerodynamic grip and sticky tires we would love to see it set a lap time at the Nurburgring in Germany and so they did.
The GT350R has been out on the treacherous race track in the north western part of Germany. The quickest time recorded beats its nearest rival- Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 fair and square. The Ford completed the 14 mile loop in 7 min 32.19 sec. That’s right up among the world’s best supercars. The Camaro meanwhile could manage a time of 7 min 37.47 sec- about 5 sec slower than the Ford.
