Ford Focus Driver damages President Donald Trump’s Golf Course
The 26-year old Ford Focus owner was caught after pulling off donuts on The Trump National Golf Course in Bedminster, New Jersey.
Was this the young man’s way of expressing his dislike for the President of the United States or was he just going way out of his league to get some media attention? We don’t know yet. But 26-year old Richard McEwan and his 2006 Ford Focus have got themselves into serious trouble after trespassing on The Trump National Golf Course to cause damages, twice.
The aforementioned golf course happens to be among President Donald Trump’s favorite locations and the local authorities didn’t take things lightly when the property came under attack from a chap in a Ford sedan.
McEwan made his first attempt on the evening of 3rd September and was spotted doing donuts on top of the 11th hole. The stunt led to damages of $10,000 and he fled the scene by the time the cops arrived. He returned on 8th September and repeated the antics on the 13th hole. The damages left behind were in the $7,000-$9,000 range.
But his getaway wasn’t as smooth as the last time and police got a partial license plate number, which eventually led to the arrest. News reports from multiple outlets have suggested that the prankster will face up to five years in prison for 3rd Degree Criminal Mischief and that McEwan has a history of breaking into private properties, including Taylor Swift’s house.
