First wrecked Ferrari Purosangue was probably on a pre-delivery test
Italian Youtuber @varryx_ recently spotted a Ferrari Purosangue that crashed somewhere near the Maranello factory. It is also said to be the first reported crash of the Purosangue.
The slightly grainy image captured by Varryx shows a white Purosangue lying on its side in a field. As you can see, the weather and road conditions weren’t exactly conducive for a V12 super SUV. That being said, we don’t know the exact sequence of events that led to the crash.
Also worth mentioning is that this was probably a customer car that was on a pre-delivery test run. The blue tape around the front end was never meant to protect the bodywork from damage caused by a crash of this magnitude.
The Ferrari Purosangue is powered by a 6.5-liter V12 engine that develops 725 hp and 528 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Ferrari claims a 0-62 mph time of 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 193 mph.
