The Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport was unveiled in March, this year. Until recently, the hypercar only existed as a showcar. Now though, the first prototype is ready and is already being pushed to the limit by Bugatti test drivers.
The latest images released by Bugatti reveal the prototype being tested at the Bilster Berg circuit in Germany. We must say, the Pur Sport looks menacing in its new black suit.
The Pur Sport gets a revised aero package featuring a new front fascia with larger vents and prominent splitter. The car has extractor vents on the front fenders and redesigned sills as well. At the rear, the Pur Sport gets a large, fixed rear wing and twin titanium exhausts. New titanium brake pad base panels, lighter brake discs and wheels have reduced the overall weight by 19 kg compared to the regular Chiron.
The Chiron Pur Sport comes with an 8.0-liter, quad-turbo W16 engine which pumps out 1500 hp. The engine’s max rpm has been raised to 6900 rpm. Bugatti has also tweaked the gear ratios for better acceleration. Suspension has also been firmed up for improved handling.
