First Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign to be delivered in late 2020
The wait is finally over for those waiting for the Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign.
Nissan has confirmed that deliveries of the GT-R50 by Italdesign will begin in late 2020.
The GT-R50 was presented as a concept to mark the 50th anniversary of the Nissan GT-R and Italdesign. The car received a good response and therefore, Nissan decided to put into production. However, only 50 units are being built with a price tag of $1.1 million a piece.
The GT-R50 is essentially a re-bodied Nissan GT-R. It is longer, wider and lower to the ground than the Nismo. It has an active rear spoiler that’s unique to the GT-R50. Customers will be able to specify their preferred color combinations both for the exterior and the interior.
Under the bonnet, the car comes with a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 that has been tuned to produce around 710 horsepower and 575 lb-ft of torque, compared to 592 hp and 481 lb-ft you get in the Nismo. It also gets race-spec turbochargers, a larger intercooler, adjustable dampers, heavy-duty crankshaft, pistons, bearings and connecting rods as well as upgraded intake and exhaust systems.
