First customer Ferrari Daytona SP3 spotted on the streets

Customer deliveries of the Ferrari Daytona SP3 are said to have commenced. The car seen in these images is finished in a shade of blue called Azzurro La Plata. It is believed to be the first of the customer cars to leave the factory.

The Daytona SP3 is the third model in Ferrari’s Icona series. While the supercar is based on the LaFerrari Aperta, its styling is reminiscent of mid-engined V12 sports prototypes from the past.

Unlike the LaFerrari, it doesn’t have a hybrid powertrain. Instead, the Daytona SP3 uses a heavily modified 6.5-liter V12 engine that powers the 812 Competizione. This motor develops 850 hp and comes paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

With production limited to 599 units, you won’t see this car on the streets that often. Looking at these images, it seems this car was delivered in Budapest, Hungary.
