First Custom Bentley Bentayga EWB sold for US$ 1 million for charity
The world’s first customized Bentley Bentayga EWB went under the hammer at the Naples Winter Wine Festival in Florida. The car was sold for US$ 1 million, the proceeds helping the disadvantaged children in the Collier County.
This special Bentley Bentayga extended wheelbase Azure was specially curated for the wine festival. The carmaker has covered the body of this Bentayga in triple layers of pearlescent Snow Quarts exterior paint. The car gets bright brightwork and is Bentley has optioned the 22-inch wheels with a 10-spoke design and Blackline specification on this unique specimen.
Tipping its hats to the wine festival, the Bentayga comes with Amethyst detailing inside the cabin. This includes the gear lever, stitching, door pockets, amongst others. The designers have also incorporated a specially stitched grape motif into some areas of the car. The opulent rear seat cushions get a purple shade along with white piping.
Other unique bits of the car include the Naples Winter Wine Festival sill plates and Naim speakers with white grilles.
Further, the winning bidder can enter the Extraordinary Journey UK Program. Above all, this includes first class airfare to the UK for a tour of Bentley’s Crewe-based factory. Besides the factory visit, participants will get to drive to Scotland’s Macallan Estate for a whiskey tasting.
