Ferrari’s Le Mans Hypercar teased for the first time

Ferrari has released the first teaser of its 2023 FIA World Endurance Championship title contender. Ferrari’s Le Mans Hypercar will race in the LMH class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The teaser release coincided with the car’s shakedown, held at the Fiorano test track. Pier Guidi is said to have got behind the wheel of the LMH racer for a few laps of the Ferrari test track.

The LMH regulations have enabled Ferrari to design their car in-house. While the prototype is still wrapped in camouflage, there are certain details that stand out. The Ferrari Le Mans Hypercar has a unique rear wing setup with large end plates and prominent spine.

The bodywork appears to be shrink wrapped around the powertrain just like their Formula 1 car. It also has a lower beam wing. The shape of the front end looks typical of the prototype endurance race cars.

We hope Ferrari will release more details of its LMH racer along with a short video of the shakedown soon.
