Ferrari Teases 488 Replacement Ahead of Official Unveiling

As mentioned in the launch schedule gathered last week, Ferrari has released a short clip teasing its upcoming replacement to the 488. It will be officially unveiled online tomorrow.

“Tomorrow, the Prancing Horse family welcomes a new member. Make room for new thrills”, the caption on the brand’s social media reads.

In the 7 second clip, we can catch a few glimpses of the exterior, interior and the engine. We can also hear the engine which is unmistakably a turbocharged V8. The 488 replacement will retain the twin-turbo V8 with minor updates to compete with the McLaren 720S, as reported in our exclusive story yesterday. The car itself will be more of an update rather than an outright successor with the exterior and the interior being modest evolution of what we have seen in the 488. But, that does not hinder our excitement and we can’t wait to witness the next chapter in Ferrari’s mid-engine story. Bring it on!
