Ferrari SF90 Versione Speciale looks sexy in new rendering
Last month we shared a rendering of the upcoming Ferrari SF90 Versione Speciale created by Monaco Auto Design. The artist has just released another image based on the latest spy shots.
The SF90 VS is expected to be a more hardcore version of the regular SF90. We’ve seen the changes made to the exterior on some of the more recent prototypes. The digital rendering gives us an idea of how the modifications will look.
As you can see, the front fascia has been redesigned a bit. It now features a more aggressive splitter element, a nose section inspired by the 488 Challenge race car and vents on either side. Also, note the additional vent on the hood and louvres on the fenders.
One of the major upgrades would be the addition of a large fixed rear spoiler. Initially, we weren’t so sure about its design. However, we quite like the artist’s version.
The SF90 Versione Speciale is expected to get an upgraded version of Ferrari’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 hybrid. This unit produces 769 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque in the standard car. The internal combustion engine is assisted by two electric motors mounted at the front and one at the rear, adding another 217 hp for a combined output of 986 hp.
What do you think of this version of the SF90 VS? Let us know in the comments.
