Ferrari Roma Spider could be unveiled in March 2023
While Lamborghini is busy putting the final touches on the Aventador successor, on the other side in Maranello, Ferrari has lined up a new convertible – Roma Spider.
The Ferrari Roma Spider is expected to debut this year, and according to a member on Ferrari Chat, the unveiling could take place as early as March 2023. Besides the date, the forum post also mentions the launch venue.
Understandably, Ferrari has chosen a sunny place for the launch of the convertible Roma. If the latest reports are to be believed, the launch and media drives could take place in Morocco.
“For several months now I have mentioned that a dozen times already, seems fchatters are not reading posts……Morocco March 2023.”
The Ferrari Roma Spider is expected to get the same twin-turbo V8 engine as its coupe counterpart. This 3.9-liter motor develops 611 hp and 560 lb-ft of torque and is mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The Spider is likely to be slightly heavier than the coupe, which will reflect in the performance figures. Ferrari claims the coupe will do 0-62 mph in 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 198 mph.
