Ferrari Purosangue totalled; flips over and crashes in Germany
A Ferrari Purosangue has been totalled in Germany. The super SUV flipped over and crashed on the A23, near the town of Itzehoe.
Images of the wreck shared on social media reveal a yellow Purosangue lying on its roof on the side of the road. As you can see, the car is heavily damaged and may not be worth repairing. The exact reason behind the accident, though, is unclear.
This won’t be the first Ferrari Purosangue to have been totalled. Earlier this year, a silver example was wrecked in China. This car, however, had its engine completely ripped from the chassis.
Speaking of the engine, the Purosangue is powered by a 6.5-liter V12 engine that develops 725 hp and 528 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Ferrari claims a 0-62 mph time of 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 193 mph.
