Ferrari KC23: A one-off track toy built for a special client
Ferrari has revealed its latest special project – a one-off track car called the KC23.
The Ferrari KC23 has been commissioned by one of the brand’s passionate collectors. The track supercar was designed at the Ferrari Style Center under the direction of Flavio Manzoni.
The KC23 features a futuristic design with automatically opening air intakes and a removable rear wing. It has Lamborghini Countach-style doors, while the front fascia is inspired by the Le Mans-winning 499P. The car is painted in Gold Mercury – a specially developed four-layer paint and aluminum base.
The KC23 is based on the Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo. While the exterior of the car has been completely transformed, the interior appears to have been borrowed straight from the race car.
Powering the KC23 is a twin-turbo V8 from the 488 GT3. According ot Ferrari, the chassis and set-up of the car is purely intended for non-competitive track use.
