Ferrari boss John Elkann’s bright orange Purosangue spotted

Ferrari President John Elkann’s new ride has been spotted in Maranello. It’s a Purosangue that you certainly won’t miss in traffic.

Elkann’s Ferrari Purosangue is finished in a rather bright shade of orange. It’s unclear if this is the new ‘Glowing Orange’ exterior color or Rosso Dino from the ‘historic’ color palette. That being said, the car has bronze wheels that are not part of the standard options.

Quite a bold spec, we must say. However, when it comes to the color, nothing can beat the Lotus Elise Cup 250 ‘Firefly’.

The Ferrari Purosangue marks the Maranello-based supercar brand’s entry into the lucrative SUV segment. It is their first four-door, four-seater car and features a complicated all-wheel-drive system similar to the GTC4 Lusso.

The Purosangue’s engine develops 725 hp and 528 lb-ft of torque @ 6250 rpm. It is hooked up to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Ferrari claims a 0-62 mph time of 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 193 mph.
