Ferrari 812 successor teased ahead of its Miami unveiling

The build-up to the Ferrari 812 successor’s global debut has begun with the first teaser of the Miami unveiling.

The Ferrari 812 successor will be launched next month, during the Formula 1 Miami GP weekend. Looking at the teaser, it seems, Ferrari will also showcase other models from its line-up. It makes sense, given how important the US market is for the brand.

We still don’t know what the new model will be called. However, there has been a lot of discussion among the community in this regard. Some say it could be called the 865 Miami / 850 Miami or 850 GTB. Another name that comes up often is ‘Ferrari Amalfi’, after the famous tourist destination on the southern coast of Italy.

What we do know is that the Ferrari 812 successor will be powered by an all-new, naturally aspirated V12 engine. The new unit is said to rev up to 10,000 rpm and produces around 840 hp.

Just like Ferrari’s outgoing V12 GT, the new model will be offered in coupe and convertible body styles. We’ve been told that the automaker will showcase versions at the Miami event.
