Ferrari has introduced a new special edition 296 GTB for the Middle East market. Six cars representing the six Gulf nations were presented at an event in Abu Dhabi as part of the brand’s 30th anniversary celebrations.
The six Ferrari 296 GTB special editions are finished in unique colours paired with gold wheels and a matching roof. The Green car has been built for Saudi Arabia, White for the UAE, Blue for Oman, Maroon for Qatar, Black for Bahrain and the metallic Brown example is dedicated to Kuwait.
Inside, the 296 GTB special editions get Beige Honolulu leather upholstery with Gold Metallic leather accents, gold Prancing Horse logos on the headrests and a frunk lined in expensive leather.
The Ferrari 296 GTB special editions are powered by the same 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 hybrid powertrain as the standard model. It produces 819 hp and 546 lb-ft of torque and is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Ferrari is already working on the updated version of the 296. It is expected to debut sometime next year.
