Makers of the Lykan Hypersport have unveiled a new 1000 hp supercar with a lower price tag. It is called the Fenyr SuperSport and it was revealed at the Dubai International Motor Show.
W Motors is a small car maker based out of Dubai and is well known for their first supercar which also featured in the latest Fast and Furious movie. Now, the Lykan Hypersport was $3.4 million affair, the new one however would cost half of that. A bargain, right?
Under the complicated bodywork sits an engine from the German tuners RUF. It is a Porsche-derived 4.0-liter flat-six cylinder engine which makes 900 hp and 1200 Nm of peak torque thanks to a twin-turbo setup. 0-62 mph is over in less than 2.7 sec and has a top speed in excess of 400 km/h or 248 mph.
The company plans to build 25 units of the Fenyr SuperSport.

Dubai based W Motors has revealed a new supercar. This is the same company which makes the exorbitantly priced Lykan Hypersport from the Fast and Furious movie. At $3.4 million, the Hypersport was more expensive than a Bugatti Veyron or even a Pagani Huayra and on top that the build quality wasn’t that great. Hopefully they have addressed some of the issues on their latest offering- Fenyr Supersport.
The company has released a few images of the upcoming Fenyr Supersport which would be powered by a 1000 hp engine wrapped in a body that’s very similar to the Lykan. Priced at $1 million this will be the entry-level supercar in W Motors range. It will be officially revealed at the Dubai International Motor Show on Tuesday.
