Fayence Yellow Porsche Carrera GT wrecked in China
A Fayence Yellow Porsche Carrera GT has crashed in China. Here’s a video of the wrecked supercar that is being circulated on social media. Fix it or leave it? What do you think?
The Porsche Carrera GT has been described by some to be tricky to master. It’s one of the last analogue supercars besides the Ferrari Enzo. The Carrera GT is powered by a 5.7-liter, naturally aspirated V10 engine – one of the best sounding internal combustion engines out there. This motor produces 603 hp and 435 lb-ft and is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. While 600-odd horsepower doesn’t seem much by modern standards, it’s enough to overwhelm the traction control system if you’re not careful with the throttle pedal.
Since we’re on the topic of Carrera GTs in China, an extremely rare Zanzibar Red example has been languishing at a dealership. Out of the 1270 cars built, only 3 were painted in this shade. It even has matching wheels and yellow brake calipers.
