Exclusive! Technical details of the Zenvo Aurora hypercar

Denmark-based supercar brand Zenvo Automotive is all set to unveil its latest hypercar. The new model is called the Zenvo Aurora and will debut on August 18, 2023.

Earlier, we had reported that the Aurora would be offered in two variants – Agil and Tur. Sources have now revealed some more technical details of the upcoming hypercar.

The Zenvo Aurora will be based on a carbon monocoque. Even the subframes and wheels are likely to be made from carbon fibre. The ‘Tur’ version is designed for road use and is said to weigh less than 1500 kg, while the ‘Agil’, which will be a track version, could weigh a mere 1300 kg or less.

Reports suggest that the Aurora could be powered by a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 mated to an all-new 8-speed gearbox that is said to have been developed in-house. The car will also feature a hybrid system pushing the overall output to 1800 hp.

The ‘Tur’ version is likely to be equipped with a larger battery pack, compared to the ‘Agil’, which is one of the reasons why it weighs more.

Sources have revealed that the Zenvo Aurora will have fixed seats integrated into the carbon monocoque. It is likely to feature an analogue speedometer and could get cameras for rear view mirrors as an option.

We’ve been told that Zenvo plans to build 100 examples of the Aurora hypercar for the entire world.
