Exclusive! Porsche 911 Turbo Heritage Edition could debut at Rennsport Reunion
The Porsche Rennsport Reunion 7 will be held at the Laguna Seca Raceway in California on September 28. It’s one of the largest gatherings of the rarest Porsche models, and this year, we might get to see yet another special model.
According to sources, Porsche might unveil the 911 Turbo Heritage edition at this year’s event. Little is known about it besides the fact that it will be based on the 992-gen 911 Turbo. It is likely to be offered in a special livery inspired by historic Porsches, lightweight wheels and other details.
The standard Porsche 911 Turbo S packs a 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-6 engine that develops 640 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed PDK and all-wheel drive.
If Porsche does unveil the 911 Turbo Heritage edition at Rennsport Reunion, it would be offered in limited numbers. The exact production number is still a mystery.
