Exclusive! More dope on the limited edition Audi RS6 GT

Last week, we got our first glimpse of the hottest Audi station wagon ever. Rumored to be called the RS6 GT, the new model was spotted near the Nurburgring. Here’s some information, albeit unconfirmed, that we’ve been able to gather till now.

Rumors suggest that the upcoming Audi RS6 GT will be powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 mild-hybrid engine boosted to around 700 hp. That’s 80 hp more than the standard car. In its current configuration, this motor develops 621 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque.

It is clear from the spy images that the RS6 GT will feature an updated aero package. The car has redesigned front and rear bumpers, side skirts and vents behind the front fenders. Audi has also added a new fixed roof spoiler. Besides this, the car will be lighter than the standard model.

We can expect the RS6 GT to get a stripped-out interior with Alcantara upholstery, and carbon fibre seats, among several other lightweight bits.
