Exclusive! Hardcore Aston Martin DBX coming soon
High-performance SUVs are the latest rave among high-end car buyers. With brands like Ferrari, Lamborghini and Aston Martin offering “super SUVs”, each in their unique flavour, you are certainly spoilt for choice.
It’s been 5 years since Aston Martin entered this segment with the DBX. The company followed it up with the DBX707, and if the latest rumors are to be believed, we might get a more hardcore Aston Martin DBX soon.
We’ve been told that Aston Martin is planning to launch an even sportier version of its flagship SUV. Details are scarce, but rumors suggest that it might feature more carbon fibre parts and an aggressive aero package.
The 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine is said to have been tuned to produce around 730 hp. That’s 33 hp more than the DBX707. The engine is expected to be paired with the same 9-speed automatic transmission as the standard car.
The hardcore Aston Martin DBX might also get a tweaked suspension setup similar to the DBX707. Although not confirmed, we might see a slight drop in overall weight, translating into improved acceleration and top speed.
