Exclusive: Gordon Murray’s T50S (Track Speed) will lighter & more powerful

The T50S (Track Speed) will be lighter and more powerful than the road version!

Late last year, Gordon Murray Automotive revealed the GMA T50. It’s a hypercar with a unique feature – a fan that literally sucks it onto the road. Powering the hypercar is a 3.9-liter, naturally aspirated V12 engine that produces 641 hp and 341 lb-ft of torque.

Earlier, we had brought you an exclusive scoop on the track only version of the GMA T50. Now, our sources have managed to dig out some more juicy details about this hypercar.

Just like the road car, the T50S (Track Speed) will use a naturally aspirate V12 engine. However, the motor will be tuned to produce 720 hp and will rev to 12000 rpm. It will also feature improved aero which is estimated to produce three times more downforce than the road version.

The road car is expected to weigh 980 kg, which is quite impressive. But, for the track car, GMA is targeting a dry weight of 880 kg!

Only 25 copies of the T50S will be built and only those who own the T50 road car will be able to buy one. The first cars are expected to be delivered in 2023.
