Exclusive: Delage D12 Hybrid Supercar to Debut on December 13

You may have read our story about French automaker Delage who were said to be planning to unveil their D12 supercar sometime this week. Well, as it turns out, it was a private event and we still don’t know how the car looks like.

According to our sources, the official presentation has been scheduled for December 13-14, 2019. It is expected to take place in Los Angeles (or Las Vegas, as per the latest update from our sources). Production is likely to be limited to just 30 units.

According to the company, the Delage D12 will come with a hybrid powertrain, featuring a naturally aspirated V12 engine paired with an electric motor. We are told that the combustion engine is built in Australia and is said to produce 900 hp, while the electric motor generates 330 hp for a total of 1,230 hp.

Delage claims that the D12 will be an F1 car for the road. Sources have said that the company is also planning to race in the Hypercar class at Le Mans in 2022 or 2023.
