Exclusive! 2026 Audi A7 & S7 Avant could be unveiled on February 18

Audi is replacing the A6 and S6 station wagons with the new A7 and S7 Avant range. The next-generation estates have been undergoing road trials for quite some time, and if the latest rumors are true, then Audi might reveal the new range on February 18, 2025.

As per Audi’s new model nomenclature, even numbers are reserved for EVs, while gas-powered models will use odd numbers. Going forward, the A7 family will only comprise station wagons, which Audi calls ‘Avant’.

The S7 Avant will be a sportier version of the A7. It will be based on the new Premium Platform Combustion (PPC) architecture. Spy images suggest that it will get a wide singleframe grille with slimmer, reprofiled LED headlamps and L-shaped LED taillights with an LED light bar stretching across the rear fascia and quad exhausts.

The new Audi S7 Avant could be powered by a twin-turbo V6, paired with a mild-hybrid system. If that’s not enough, Audi is also likely to offer a more powerful version in the form of the RS 7 Avant. It will have an even more aggressive exterior, upgraded suspension, and brakes.
