Entry-Level Mercedes-AMG GT C In the Works
Update: Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster at 2016 Paris Motor Show
It looks like an entry-level Mercedes-AMG GT C is in the works. What we have here is Mercedes-Benz’s new model launches for 2017. Their future road map includes an S-Class facelift, E-Class coupe, cabriolet and an all-wheel drive model. The document also reveals the upcoming pickup truck.
Cheaper alternative to the AMG GT
But, it’s the entry-level Mercedes-AMG GT C that interests us the most. The Mercedes-AMG GT C will be a cheaper alternative to the AMG GT. The model will be available as a hard top coupe and roadster. It is expected to arrive next year with a possible early reveal at one of the premier auto shows.
The AMG GT C would probably feature revised exterior styling along with a de-tuned powertrain. That said, details are still scarce. Moreover, it will rival the likes of the Porsche 911 Carrera models and the lower-end Jaguar F-Type.
