Donald Trump’s Lamborghini Diablo sells for $1.1 million at auction

The Lamborghini Diablo Roadster VT, once owned by former US President Donald Trump, has been sold for a record $1.1 million at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction. That’s more than double of what it was offered for in 2016.

This Diablo Roadster VT is a 1997 model, of which only 132 cars were produced for the US market. It has 15,431 miles on the clock.

The supercar is finished in Blu Le Mans and has a dual-tone interior neatly trimmed in black and white leather. It also has a special plaque with the text, “Donald Trump 1997 Diablo”. Donald Trump owned it until 2002.

The Diablo Roadster VT is powered by a 5.7-liter V12 engine that produces 492 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque and mated with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The supercar can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.1 seconds and has a top speed of 202 mph.
