A blue Lamborghini Diablo, once owned by former US President Donald Trump, is back on sale. The supercar will be up for auction at the Barrett-Jackson event on January 27, 2024.
This 1997 Lamborghini Diablo Roadster VT was one of 132 cars produced for the US market. Donald Trump owned it until 2002.
The car was specced by Trump himself. It was the only Diablo painted in Blu Le Mans in 1997, with the dual-tone interior neatly trimmed in black and white leather. It also has a special plaque with the text, “Donald Trump 1997 Diablo”.
The Diablo Roadster VT is powered by a 5.7-liter V12 engine that produces 492 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque and mated with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The supercar can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.1 seconds and has a top speed of 202 mph. It has 15,431 miles on the clock but CARFAX shows mileage inconsistency.
Trump’s Diablo had popped up for sale on eBay in 2016. It had 15,277 miles on the odometer back then.
