Dodge Demon 170 Jailbreak could be limited to 20 units

You may have put your name on the Dodge Demon 170 waiting list expecting that it would be the ultimate muscle car, but that may not be true. According to recent reports, Dodge is working on another special edition called the Demon 170 Jailbreak.

A Hellcat forum member claims that Dodge had secretly invited select customers to purchase the Demon 170 Jailbreak. Around 20-25 people were shortlisted, including a couple of racers, Dodge insiders and celebrities like Jay Leno, Michael Strahan and Bill Goldberg.

The customers got to pick from 40 colours, which included 20 legacy heritage colours from 1970 and 20 newer colours hand-picked by the SRT team. Each car will be finished in a unique shade and a plaque with the customer’s name and colour choice.

Now, what’s interesting is that Dodge has also confirmed that the Demon 170 Jailbreak does exist. In a recent statement, Dodge said, “The Jailbreak 170 is a celebration of the ultimate “Last Call” Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 shared with our most loyal muscle car customers. Select individuals were offered this exclusive paint option based on their new Dodge Charger and Challenger purchase history and Dodge brand affiliation. This one-of-one paint option will add an extra layer of customization and collectability to the record-breaking Challenger SRT Demon 170 and was made available on a limited basis to those who have meant so much to the latest era of Dodge muscle. The option is no longer being offered.”
