Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Octane Edition: You got to Order one Right Now!
You can order one right now. But better be quick with that as the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Octane Edition booking won’t be open for long.
It’s coming to dealerships this fall. However, FCA won’t the booking lines open until then for the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Octane Edition. And going by the pictures shared by the company’s PR wing, these special edition “blacked-out” Chargers will be lapped up by customers in no time.
Available in two colors – Pitch Black and White Knuckle – the Octane Edition cars flaunt matte black stripes running down the middle with thin Octane Red borders on both sides. Exterior enhancements include black badges and spoiler, 20-inch wheels finished in gloss black and Octane Red Brembo brake calipers. Step inside and the drama continues in the black interior with houndstooth seat inserts, red seatbelts and of course plenty of red stitching on everything from the doors to the steering wheel.
The prices for a standard 2019 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat start at $68,740. Opting for the Octane Edition will bump it up by $1,495. Engine and mechanicals remain the same with the supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi V8 producing 707 hp and 650 lb-ft, all of those being directed to the rear wheels by an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Okay, we get it. It’s just another cosmetic upgrade limited edition. But hey, you can’t expect more than that for a $1,495 premium. And everyone knows that regardless of it being a 10-year-old car, people just love the Dodge Charger. So we won’t be worried at all about the sales. It’ll sell like hot cakes in no time.
