Czinger 21C sets new Goodwood Hill Climb record for production cars
The Czinger 21C has set a new production car record at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The single-seater hypercar sprinted up the hill climb course in 48.82 seconds.
The Czinger 21C features a radical design and is built using the latest 3D printing technology. Each component is computationally engineered using AI and is optimized for weight and performance.
The 21C is powered by a mid-mounted, 2.88-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine coupled with an 800 V electric drive. The electric motor drives the front wheels, while the petrol engine powers the rear axle. The combined output is a meaty 1350 hp.
The Ford Supervan 4.2 won the shootout with a time of 43.98 seconds, followed by the Subaru WRX Project Midnight with a time of 46.07 seconds. The Porsche 992 GT3 Cup completed the top 3 with 48.04 second time. The Czinger 21C was placed fifth in the overall standings.
