We Configure a Porsche 911 GT2 RS with $64,000 Worth of Options
Porsche unveiled the new 911 GT2 RS recently at the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed. It is the most powerful 911 ever with 700 hp and can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 2.7 sec. Those are rather impressive figures for a rear-wheel supercar.
We decided to play around with the GT2 RS configurator and come up with the most expensive spec. Here’s how it went.
We’ve gone with a Lava Orange theme with every possible option on the the exterior. Of course, our car is equipped with the $31,000 Weissach Package- the priciest of all options available on the 911 GT2 RS.
The interior is all alcantara with personalized carbon fiber mats and aluminium pedals. We’ve spec’ed all the dials in white. The air-cone vents are painted in matching Lava Orange. We would’ve liked to have matching seats belts though.
Now, the base price of the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS is $293,200. We added $63,860 worth of options to our build. Adding delivery charge $1050 our 911 GT2 RS build costs $358,110.
