Checkout the 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 RS’ active rear spoiler in action

As is with every new generation of the 911, the upcoming Porsche 911 GT3 RS will feature incremental changes over the outgoing model. Essentially a more track-focused version of the 911 GT3, the new RS is expected to get the same running gear including the double-wishbone front suspension.

The aero package on the 911 GT3 RS has always been a step above that on the regular GT3. It seems, this time, it will be more of a leap. The latest videos that have emerged from the Nurburgring suggest that the car is likely to get an active rear spoiler.

The new GT3 RS is expected to be powered by a 4.0-liter, flat-6 engine producing well over 500 hp. In the GT3, this engine makes 502 hp and 346 lb-ft of torque. It is mated to either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed PDK.
