Charles Leclerc spotted in his Ferrari on the night his $320k watch was stolen

Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc was mugged in Viareggio on April 18, 2022. At around 10 PM, Leclerc stopped to take pictures with a group of fans, when two individuals snatched his watch from his wrist.

As you would imagine, this was no ordinary timepiece. Leclerc reportedly had a Richard Mille 67-02 on his wrist at the time, a watch valued at $320,000.

As per the latest reports, the Italian police have detained four people in connection with the theft. They have also recovered two “valuable watches”, although it’s unclear if that includes Leclerc’s watch.

The police have also released CCTV footage from the night of the incident. The video shows Charles in his Ferrari 488 Pista, followed by a silver crossover.
