Carlos Sainz chases down thieves who stole his $630,000 Richard Mille

Ferrari Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz had a tough time keeping up with Max Verstappen during the Italian Grand Prix at Monza. However, it was not the only chase he was involved in over the weekend.

According to reports, after the race, Sainz Jr. chased down a group of thieves who had robbed his $630,000 Richard Mille luxury watch.

Sainz, who was still in his team gear, was reportedly robbed near the Armani Hotel in central Milan. The incident took place around 8.30 pm on Sunday. He was able to chase down the robbers and recover his expensive timepiece with help from his team members and the public.

Sainz took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to thank all the people who helped him. He also expressed his gratitude towards the local police for their quick intervention.

Last year, his teammate Charles Leclerc faced a similar ordeal when he was robbed of his Richard Mille watch in the Italian town of Viareggio.
