Bugatti Divo sets new 1/4 mile production world record

Bugattis are among the fastest accelerating hypercars on the planet but rarely do we get a chance to see one barrel down the drag strip. Well, @supercarsmajlis was able to persuade one owner to bring his Bugatti Divo to the Yas Marina drag strip. Let’s just say, no one stood a chance against it.

The Bugatti Divo went on to set a new 1/4 mile world record for production cars that evening. It crossed the line in 9.27 seconds at 248.68 kph. Here’s a video of the record run.

Besides the Divo, the SCM event was also attended by a Ferrari SF90 Stradale, a 488 Pista and even an 812 Competizione. Here’s a video of the Divo taking on a Tesla Model S Plaid.
