Bugatti confirms Chiron successor to debut in 2024
We had reported about the Bugatti Chiron successor all the way back in 2019. Back then, we told you that the replacement hypercar was likely to be launched by 2025. Well, Bugatti has now confirmed that it will be showcased next year.
Bugatti’s former design chief Achim Anscheidt has revealed that the Chiron successor is ready. He added that the prototype tooling was delivered a couple of months back, while production tooling will be delivered a few months from now.
While details of the new model are scarce, Anscheidt said, “(the car) has to bring forward Bugatti into a new era, while retaining the brand’s signature design cues such as the horseshoe grille and the Bugatti line”.
Achim further went on to state that the replacement of the Chiron will be leaner than the Bugatti Mistral. At its heart will no longer be the mighty W16, but a much smaller V8 hybrid powerplant.
Now, we’ve been trying to dig out information on the new Bugatti hypercar for months. We hope to bring you some insider details soon.
