Bugatti Chiron successor production numbers confirmed?

The much-awaited Bugatti Chiron successor will finally be shown to the public later today. While we still don’t know its actual name, some are speculating it might be called Tourbillon, which is French for whirlwind.

The latest teaser video shows the analog instrument cluster that not only looks but also functions like a mechanical watch movement. We got our first look at the transparent gauge cluster last month via a leaked image.

The teaser shows the instrument cluster as the Chiron successor, codenamed BR1, accelerates through the gears. Note that the speed goes well past the 350 km/h (217 mph) mark. The three small dials on the left show the battery charge, fuel level, and engine temperature. What caught our eye though, is the tiny engraving at the top, which says, “1/250.”.

As we had reported earlier, Bugatti is building fewer than 300 cars this time. The engraving on the gauge cluster almost confirms that only 250 Bugatti BR1s will be produced. That being said, we shall get the final confirmation about the name and production numbers soon.
