Bugatti Chiron convoy spotted in Colorado
A Bugatti Chiron convoy was spotted in Colorado recently. Four Chiron prototypes cruising down the road would definitely be a treat to watch.
Hunter J.G. Frim Photography was able to chase down the convoy before they pulled over into a fuel station. Among the four test cars, two of them seem like early prototypes- note the temporary rear tail light on the black cars. The other two however are clearly US-spec Chirons.
The Bugatti Chiron was unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. While it uses the same 8.0-liter W16 quad-turbocharged engine, peak power has gone up to 1500 hp. Unlike most mainstream hypercars, the Chiron does not have an on-board hybrid system and relies solely on fossil fuels.
Each Chiron costs upwards of $2.5 million depending on the various customization options one selects. If you want to know more about rather expensive options on the Chiron click here.
