The Bugatti team is in the United States to showcase their next-generation hypercar to prospective clients. The Chiron successor was recently showcased in Miami and has now arrived in Los Angeles. Bugatti CEO Mate Rimac has been kind enough to put out a teaser for those less fortunate ones who weren’t invited to these private events.
The video posted by Mate shows the Chiron successor hiding under a cover. It provides a hint of the overall shape of the new hypercar, which appears to be an evolution of its predecessors, the Veyron and Chiron. You can see the front fender line that continues along the side. It appears to intersect Bugatti’s signature ‘C’ line. You also get a brief glimpse of the new headlamp design.
From what we’ve been told, the design will incorporate a larger horseshoe grille at the front and a McLaren P1-ish rear section – perhaps an evolution of the La Voiture Noire. The interior has been described as a “Swiss mechanical watch”.
The highlight of Bugatti’s next-gen hypercar will be its engine. It is an 8.3-liter V16 hybrid that is expected to produce 1800 hp. It will feature two electric motors on the front axle and a third nestled between the engine and transmission.
