Brand new Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae out for a quick test drive
After more than a decade in production, the Lamborghini Aventador is finally bowing out. The last 600 units that are being built right now are of the special edition Aventador Ultimae. Here’s one being taken out for a quick spin.
Varryx spotted this blue Ultimae outside the Lamborghini factory. It seems the car had just rolled off the assembly line and was being taken for a test drive.
The Aventador Ultimae gets a dual-tone exterior with an Aventador SVJ-spec exhaust. It also uses a lot of carbon fibre in its construction, resulting in 25 kg in weight savings over the Aventador S.
It still uses the same 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine. However, it has now been tuned to 780 hp and 531 lb-ft. This enables the supercar to hit 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds. On an open piece of tarmac, the Ultimae will hit a top speed of 221 mph.
