BMW M4 CS unveiled: Lighter and more track-focused
The 2025 BMW M4 CS has just been revealed. The new track-focused variant is positioned between the M4 Competition and the M4 CSL and comes with a price tag of $125,000.
The M4 CS uses the same twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six that produces 543 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and BMW’s M xDrive all-wheel drive system.
In terms of performance, BMW claims a 0-60 mph time of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 188 mph.
In order to achieve this, BMW has had to reduce the overall weight of the coupe by 45 lbs. This was possible thanks to a carbon fibre hood, front splitter, and rear diffuser. The M4 CS also gets M Carbon seats and a lightweight exhaust.
BMW has also tweaked the chassis, making it quicker around a racetrack than the M4 Competition. It laps the Nurburgring in 7 min 21.99 seconds, which is 1.5 seconds slower than the CSL.
