Ford has partnered with Barrett-Jackson to auction the first 2024 Mustang Dark Horse. The auction will be held on January 27, and the proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
The Mustang Dark Horse VIN 001 is finished in Blue Ember Metallic, with a contrasting black roof and Notorious Blue brake calipers. It has a Deep Indigo interior and black Recaro seats with blue accents.
Powering the Mustang Dark Horse is Ford’s 4th-gen 5.0-liter Coyote V8 that puts out 500 hp and 418 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. This car is also equipped with the Handling package, which comes with a bespoke suspension setup with magnetic dampers, 19-inch wheels, front tow hooks and a rear spoiler with a gurney flap.
