Australia’s first Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro lands in Perth
It’s been a year since the Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro made its dynamic debut at the Bahrain GP circuit. Now, finally, one of the first cars has landed in Australia. It was recently delivered to the @theleecollectionperth.
This Valkyrie AMR Pro has been commissioned by Laurence Escalante. It features a deep red exterior with electric yellow accents, which looks quite striking, to say the least.
The AMR Pro is the track version of the Valkyrie and is not street-legal. The car is longer and wider than the road car and features a different aerodynamic package. It includes a large rear spoiler and a more aggressive front splitter. Aston Martin claims that this package generates twice the amount of downforce as the standard Valkyrie.
At the heart of the AMR Pro is a 1000 hp 6.5-liter V12 engine that revs to 11,000 rpm. Unlike the road car, which is a hybrid, the AMR Pro is powered by a good old-fashioned NA V12.
